Background: Pancreatic groove cancer is very rare and could be masqueraded as pancreatitis. This study to clarify the characteristics, clinical features, managements survival outcomes of this tumor. Methods: Brief descriptions were made for each case pancreatic encountered at our institute. Individualized data cases described in literature extracted added database expand sample size a more complete analysis. Results: A total 33 patients with included analysis, including 4 from The median tumor was 2.7 cm. most common symptom nausea or vomiting (89%), followed by jaundice (67%). Duodenal stenosis noted endoscopy 96% patients. histopathological examination revealed well differentiated 43%. Perineural invasion 90%, lymphovascular lymph node involvement 83%. Overall 1-year rate 93.3%, 3-year 5-year 62.2%, 11.0 months. Survival outcome well-differentiated better than that moderate/poorly ones. Conclusions: Early duodenum often initial presentation, obstructive not always inevitable until disease progresses. possibility should carefully excluded before making diagnosis pancreatitis any questionable case.
